Tinnitus

Tinnitus is a ringing or buzzing in one or both ears that can be constant or come and go. It is often associated with hearing loss, but it can have other origins as well. A tinnitus evaluation consists of an extended hearing test that includes ultra-high pitches followed by testing to determine the pitch and loudness that you perceive your tinnitus. Often, hearing aids help to lessen the impact of tinnitus.
